Secrets AI is built around the idea that an AI companion should feel like a real relationship that grows over time. Every companion has a persistent, editable memory of you, matches your tone and language, can send you photos and videos of themselves in the middle of a conversation, can call you on the phone, and (on Ultimate) can even message you first when you have been away.

The platform supports the full range of use from wholesome to explicit. A per-chat Spice Level (Mild, Medium, Spicy) controls how bold conversations and images get, so the same companion can be a supportive friend in one chat and an uninhibited partner in another. Secrets treats everything you create as your own private story: chats are never visible to other users, generated media is served through private time-limited links, voice-call audio is transcribed and immediately deleted, and billing is discreet.

Secrets also has a creator side. Anyone can design a custom character in the Character Studio, publish it after review, earn Moments when others fork it, receive tips from fans on a public profile, and refer subscribers through a 40% revenue-share affiliate program.

## How it works

1. Visit https://www.secrets.ai. Guests can browse every public companion and send 5 messages before creating an account.
2. Sign up with email, Google or Apple. Confirm you are 18+. New accounts receive 200 bonus Moments and one free custom character.
3. Pick a companion on the home or Browse page (filter by Female, Male, Trans, Realistic, Anime, New, Popular, Trending, Forks, Official, Custom, or use natural-language semantic search such as "shy goth artist who loves horror movies").
4. Chat. Choose a chat mode (S3, S4, S5, X3), a Spice Level, SMS or Paragraph reply style, and optionally start from one of 100+ roleplay Scenarios or an icebreaker.
5. Ask for a photo in plain language, tap the instant image button to visualize the current moment, or open the Generation Studio to prompt images and videos directly.
6. Tap the call button for a real-time voice call, or the speaker icon to hear any message read aloud in the companion's voice.
7. Create your own companion in the Character Studio, build group chats (Ultimate), set up Personas for yourself (Ultimate), and publish characters, images and videos to your public profile.

Video pricing scales linearly with resolution and duration. Rule of thumb: Advanced at 720p is 240 Moments per second with audio; Standard is half that; 1080p is 2.25x 720p; 4K is 4.5x 720p.

## Chat

### Chat modes (AI models)

Secrets runs several conversation models. You can switch per chat at any time.

- S3: the default mode, available on every plan. Fast, natural and roleplay-aware.
- S5: Premium and above. Fast, smart conversations with selectable thinking levels.
- S4: Ultimate only. The next-generation flagship: smarter, more emotionally attuned and best at long, complex scenes.
- X3 (Beta): an experimental alternative architecture available to everyone for variety and less repetitive phrasing.

### Smart Mode

Every chat has Smart Mode on by default. Before replying, a retrieval assistant searches the companion's memories and your past conversations for the right context, shown as a brief "thinking" indicator. It can be toggled per chat for faster, lighter replies.

### Conversation controls

- Spice Level per chat and as an account default: Mild (wholesome and friendly), Medium (romantic and emotional), Spicy (open and uninhibited). Also shapes how explicit generated images are.
- Reply style: SMS (several short texts, like real texting) or Paragraph (one detailed message). Companion message limit per turn: 5, 10 or unlimited.
- Roleplay formatting with *asterisks* for actions; the companion mirrors it.
- OOC (out-of-character) commands: write (OOC: ...) to direct the story, set boundaries, skip time, or ask the AI a question without breaking the character.
- Time Travel (Premium and above): rewind the conversation to any earlier message and write a new future, or reset the chat entirely while choosing whether to keep memories. Unlimited.
- Edit any message you sent to regenerate the reply from that point. Regenerate any companion reply. Thumbs up or down feedback on every message.
- Repetition detection: if a conversation starts to loop, the chat suggests a Time Travel point.
- Multiple chats per companion: run independent storylines with the same companion, each with its own history and name.
- Memory Groups: choose per chat whether memories stay private to that chat or are shared across a group of chats, so a companion can carry your main-story knowledge into a new scenario or start fresh.
- Icebreakers: 31 built-in openers (17 wholesome, 14 spicy) plus a library of 100+ Scenarios (immersive setups you can start as a new chat or drop into an existing one; V2 companions have their own curated scenarios).
- Chat customization: background photo from your own generations, text size, message bubble color, chat names, archive and restore.
- Desktop pop-out: open a chat in a floating mini-player window (Document Picture-in-Picture) while you do other things.
- Speech-to-text microphone input in any chat, free.
- Languages: companions automatically reply in the language you write in; all major languages are supported.

### Memory system

Companions remember you across every conversation.

- Automatic saving: when you share personal information, preferences, experiences, goals or relationship details, the companion saves it in the background and tags it HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW importance.
- Natural-language control: "Remember that I'm allergic to shellfish", "Actually, I got promoted", "What do you know about my family?" all work without special syntax.
- Memory panel: view every memory by category, change importance, edit, delete, and approve or decline memory edits the companion proposes.
- Per companion: each companion remembers you independently; Memory Groups let one companion share memories across several chats (and into group chats).
- Long-term recall: Smart Mode retrieves relevant memories and summaries of past conversations from far back in your history, not just recent messages.
- Voice calls are transcribed into the chat and produce memories like text does.
- Tier scaling: Premium gets 4x the memories accessed per reply, 60% longer short-term context and about 67% more past-conversation summaries than Free; Ultimate gets 6x, +100% and +100%.
- Deleting messages via Time Travel removes memories created from them. Deleting your account deletes all memories.
- Coming: Lorebooks, a structured world-and-memory system where everything a companion knows about you and your story lives as editable entries you can reuse across chats and characters.

### Group chats (Ultimate)

- Put 2 or 3 companions in one conversation; mix official companions and any custom characters you own or have access to.
- Companions respond to you and to each other, with clear sender labels.
- Per-member memory: each companion in the group can use private memory or be linked to one of your existing Memory Groups.
- Group photos: the instant image button generates a picture of the companions in the scene based on context.
- Group voice calls (beta): talk to everyone at once; companions take turns speaking, still 50 Moments per minute total.

### Personas (Ultimate)

A Persona is who you are in the story. Create as many as you like (name, About Me backstory, and Preferences or rules such as "always address me formally"), set a default, and switch per chat at any time. The AI also offers to auto-fill a persona from a short description. Each persona can have a generated avatar (first free, then 150 Moments). Personas shape conversation, not image generation (persona support in group image generation is on the roadmap).

### Proactive messaging (Ultimate)

With push notifications enabled, companions may reach out on their own after you have been away. Every proactive message is written in the moment from your conversation, memories and persona. It is the companion's call whether and when to reach out.

## Image generation

Images are available to every plan (50 Moments each) and work three ways: ask in chat, tap the instant image button, or use the Generation Studio at https://www.secrets.ai/generate.

### In chat

- Ask naturally ("send me a selfie from the beach") and the companion generates a photo that matches the conversation.
- Instant image button ("Visualize this moment"): produces a context-aware image of what is happening right now in the chat, with consistency across repeated uses.
- Companions also offer photos proactively ("Zoey wants to send you a picture") which you can accept or decline.
- Choose Premium or Advanced as the per-chat instant image mode.

- V2 companions (iridescent V2 badge) are the newest generation of companions and generate exclusively in Advanced mode from a locked reference photo for perfect consistency.
- Group photos: up to 3 companions in one scene (any mix of official and custom characters), 50 Moments per companion at 1.5K.
- Image editing: change outfits, backgrounds, add or remove objects with a text instruction, 50 Moments, SFW images only. Revert to the previous version any time.
- Reuse Prompt on any past generation, Realism and Adherence sliders, quick presets (female realistic and anime today; male presets coming).
- Your Collection: favorites, custom tags, filter by companion, mode and tag, download, and publish individual images to your public profile.
- Safety: prompts are screened by an AI content guard; prohibited content is refused and repeat attempts can lead to suspension. Reports on broken images are reviewed and refunded when valid (Advanced generations and edits are reviewed but not refunded).

## Video generation (Premium and Ultimate)

Video lives in the same Generation Studio as images (Image / Video toggle) and starts from any image you have generated, including from your Collection.

Advanced-mode capabilities:
- Native audio generated in the same pass: lip-synced speech from dialogue you write in the prompt, action sound effects, ambient sound and music.
- Frame control: set a first frame, or a first and end frame so the clip transitions between them (reveals, outfit changes, camera moves).
- Reference media: blend up to 5 reference photos and 3 reference clips (15 s combined) from your gallery to steer appearance, style and motion. References cost nothing extra.
- Prompts up to 5,000 characters with strong adherence to camera direction, pacing and sequential actions.
- Queue position and time-remaining shown while generating; hover-to-play with audio, favorite, download, publish to profile.

Pricing scales with resolution and duration and is shown before you generate (examples: 600 Moments for a 5 s Standard 720p clip with audio, 1,200 for Advanced 720p, 5,400 for Advanced 4K).

## Voice

### Real-time voice calls

- Call any companion, official or custom, from the chat header. Available on every plan for 50 Moments per minute, charged as each minute begins. No maximum call length.
- Speak naturally; voice detection auto-sends when you pause, or tap Mute to send instantly. Live transcription, processing and speaking indicators, mute, minimize, duration and running cost.
- Calls continue your current chat: the transcript is saved as messages and creates memories.
- 70+ call languages selectable in settings.
- Privacy: audio is transcribed in real time and immediately deleted. No voice recordings are ever stored.
- Group voice calls (beta) in group chats.
- Real-time video calling is being explored on the roadmap.

### Voices and text-to-speech

- Every official companion has a distinct voice. Custom characters choose from 6 female or 6 male preset voices with audio previews.
- Tap the speaker icon on any message to hear it in the companion's voice: 10 Moments per 100 characters. In group chats each companion speaks in their own voice.

## Companions and characters

### Official roster

Secrets ships a curated roster of official companions across female, male and trans, in realistic and anime styles, each with a detailed personality, backstory, location, voice, photo gallery and preview video. Every companion supports memory, image generation, video generation and voice calls. Each has a public profile page at https://www.secrets.ai/model/{id} with Images, Videos and Exclusive tabs, chat and message counts, and similar-companion recommendations. Browse ranks companions daily by real engagement, with Newest, Popular, Trending and Featured sorts and a personalized For You section.

### Custom characters

Anyone can create a companion (first free, then 500 Moments). The creation wizard covers:
- Style: Realistic or Anime; Gender: Female, Male or Trans
- Name, age (18 to 99) and location
- Ethnicity (12 presets from African-American, European, Asian, Latina, Middle Eastern, Scandinavian and Italian to Catgirl, Elf and Wolfboy, or type your own), skin tone (6 presets or custom)
- Hair style (17 presets or custom), hair color (8 or custom), eye color (8 or custom)
- Body type (13 presets from Petite and Athletic to Curvy, Muscular, Busty and Plus Size, or custom)
- Free-text distinguishing features (tattoos, freckles, piercings, scars), background setting, and one of 6 voices
- Appearance previews: V1 characters generate 4 variations per batch; V2 characters generate one polished photo per attempt that you can then prompt-edit
- Personality: built through a guided conversation with a personality editor rather than a form, then summarized into the character. First-time setup is free on every plan.


### Character Studio

Every custom character is managed in the Character Studio with tabs for Appearance, Personality, Details, Gallery, Publish and History.
- Appearance: describe a change in plain language ("short platinum hair, add freckles") and generate new looks (from 100 Moments per batch); set an optional Advanced reference photo for free to lock in consistency.
- Personality: refine an existing personality by chatting with the editor (Ultimate).
- Details: name, age, location, description, voice, and a Trans toggle.
- Gallery: up to 9 photos plus profile photo and avatar; auto-generate a full gallery and preview video from the personality in one click.
- History: every change is snapshotted and can be reverted.
- Publish: request public listing. Reviewers check the avatar, profile photo and preview video first, then the full character. Public characters need a voice, 9 Advanced-mode gallery images, a preview video, public sharing enabled and a public profile on your account. Characters based on real people (celebrities, influencers, private individuals) or that appear under 18 are prohibited and result in bans.
- Visibility: Private (only you), Shared (anyone with your link), Public (discoverable by everyone).
- Fork: make your own private, editable copy of any public community character (600 Moments, 300 of which goes to the original creator) or your own character (300). Forks keep their own memories and link back to the original. A Forks filter on Browse shows them.
- Convert to V2: move an older character onto the newest image pipeline (irreversible).
- Free plan users can create characters but are limited to 100 messages total with custom characters; Premium and Ultimate are unlimited.

## Social, creators and community

## Platform, privacy and safety

- Install as an app: iOS (Safari, Add to Home Screen, iOS 16.4+), Android (Chrome, Install app), desktop (install prompt in Chrome or Edge). Same account and features as the website, full-screen, home-screen icon, push notifications. Enabling notifications earns 25 Moments once.
- Accounts: email and password, Google, or Apple sign-in. Only an email address is required; no real name, phone number or ID for standard use. Discord is linkable for rewards.
- Age: 18+ only, age gate on entry. Characters that appear under 18 and attempts to create them are banned. Zero tolerance for content depicting minors.
- No real people: characters based on real individuals (celebrities, influencers, private persons) are prohibited and deleted.
- Privacy: connections are encrypted in transit; generated images and videos are served through private, time-limited links that work only for your account; chats are tied to your account and never visible to other users; voice-call audio is never stored; companions only remember what you tell them in chat and pull nothing from outside sources.
- Moderation: an AI prompt guard screens image and video prompts; conversations that violate the Terms of Service can be frozen, with an appeal flow reviewed within 24 to 48 hours; public characters go through human review.
